Check out this new trailer for Element’s new video Sole. And while your at it tell me why Darrell Stanton looks like he’s having fun even when he’s falling all over the place.

Don’t know if you guy’s know who Olly Todd is, so I’ll let Oliver Barton explain this somewhat older section for you

“Before Stereo, Olly Todd used to skate for a UK company called Landscape and Chris Massey made them a video. It was far from a big budget affair but making scrilla was not what any of them were in it for, it was straight love and I think that really shines through in this part of Toddy who was working in a skate shop at the time and trying to clock street time after work on the cold streets of London.”

So give this a watch and be excited for his section in the upcoming Stereo video.

Keep on eye out, this kid’s gonna get big someday. If only his name was easier to remember.

Darrell Staton’s This Is My Element Part is probably the most creative section he’s had. I loved his part in Free Your Mind a couple years back, and while this section doesn’t have quite as classic music, it’s still pretty sick. I mean you really can’t rip on a guy who’s got this loose of a style, always looks like he’s just chillin’ having fun, and does his ender trick switch and regular. Oh yeah, and he’s probably got the best looking stalefish of any guy who doesn’t ride tranny. Now there’s a winner in my book.

Tim Tones facebooked (is that a word yet) this to me. I was a little skeptical at first but was in the lab working on a project and found my ipod’s battery to be dead. Downloaded this to the computer and immediately started blasting it. Easily one of the best mix tapes I’ve heard in a while, if not some of the best Hip-Hop I’ve heard in a while. Tim Tones mix’s the beats perfectly and Ric Rude just kills it on the mic. The fact that it’s coming out of Rochester makes it even better. So give this free download from Soul Slinger’s a shot, rep some 585 in your tunes and share it with your friends. These guy’s deserve more fan’s. Some other local favorites make a few guest appearances as well. (A little Filthy Funk anyone? Please and thank you.)
